Plaintiff’s landscaping company worked on defendant’s 200 acre ranch for 2 years causing a $500,000.00 debt. Defendant claimed the parties signed an agreement to discount as much as $400,000.00 and that the ranch had millions of dollars of damage for repair. Plaintiff charged any and all documents were forgeries having never agreed to a discount and that all worked was performed to the satisfaction of defendant. The jury awarded compensatory and punitive damages. Motion for new trial & JNOV denied. Cost of proof damages granted.
